Specification
Requirements for high-quality FRP skylite sheet:
1. High-quality polyester
2. High-performance film sticking
3. High-quality fibreglass
Appearance of High-quality FRP skylite sheet:
1. Small bubble
2. No water sign
3. Uniform thickness
Main performance:
1. Strong resistance ultraviolet
2. Strong resistance to chemical corrosion
3. Strong self-cleaning
4. Strong resistance to ageing
5. Strong resistance to powdering
Loading/unloading and construction points:
1. Points on skylite sheet loading and unloading
(1) Avoid the bottom surface from touching or pulling both ends, or the skylite sheet will be damaged.
(2) Place the daylighting plate on firm and smooth floor, protect the top and bottom by waste plates, and avoid putting heavy items above it, or the daylighting plate will be damaged.
(3) Arrange a worker in every 3m, hold both sides by both hands firmly, keep the hands height the same with head, or the daylighting plate will be broken.
(4) Load/unload once every 2~3 pieces.
(5) Avoid bending longitudinally or transversely while hoisting to roof, or the daylighting plate will be cracked.
2. Points on skylite sheet construction
(1) Reserve place for skylite sheet while laying steel plates, construct from eaves towards ridges, cover the skylite sheet on side wave crest of steel plate directly.
(2) Make prepared hole before fix the skylite sheet, (the formula for prepared hole is: thermal expansion coefficient * length * year temperature difference). Considering the heat expanding and cold shrinking, the hole size must be 6~9mm more than the fix screw diameter.
(3) Keep at least 200mm in overlap in longitudinal lapping between skylite sheet and steep plate, paste two sealing tape.
(4) Put good flashing gasket between skylite sheet and screw while fix daylighting plate to resist water and dust.
(5) Lock the flashing gasket into purlin by electric drill once it fits the screw, then the skylite sheet is fixed.
(6) Avoid stepping on wave crest, or the skylite sheet will be cracked. Place a 1200mm×300mm (Length×width) antiskid plank on the lateral position, then step on it to make hole and fix screw on skylite sheet. |
